This roasted garlic BBQ sauce tastes rich, smoky, and deeply savory with a smooth sweet finish. Roasted garlic gives a mellow, slightly nutty flavor that blends with tangy apple cider vinegar and thick ketchup base.

Instructions
Heat a saucepan over medium heat and add the garlic oil. Once it’s warm, toss in the diced onion and cooks it gently until it turns soft and lightly golden, bringing out its natural sweetness.
Next, add the minced garlic along with the roasted garlic. Stir and let it cook for a minute or two until the kitchen fills with a rich, fragrant garlic aroma.
Now build the sauce by pouring in the ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, molasses, honey, cayenne pepper, and a touch of liquid smoke. Mix everything well so it becomes smooth and fully combined.
Lower the heat and let it simmer slowly for about 30 to 40 minutes. Stir it every now and then so nothing sticks to the bottom and the flavors can deepen nicely.
If you prefer a smoother texture, blend the sauce lightly using a blender or immersion blender. You can also leave it a bit chunky if you like more texture.
When it’s done, let it cool completely. Pour it into a clean jar or bottle and keep it refrigerated until ready to use.
